2018 was not the best year for me. I was pulled from a cushy position at my job and put in a difficult situation. I was down on myself, feeling like I was lost. I saw all these people around me that were successful and happy, and I felt like I was on auto-pilot mode going

to work everyday and crashing when I had some time off. I was sick of living this way. Tired of not living my best life. Tired of not having a purpose. I knew I was made for more, but I didn’t know where to go.

I then made the decision to take back control of my life and start going after my dreams. From the time I can remember, I’ve always said I wanted to change the world. To me, this dream is fluid, meaning I can achieve it in little ways, but my work is never done. I will always have something more to strive for. Well, it’s time for me to start changing the world and going after my passions.

I technically started this business about 4 years ago, but I never got serious about it. I always go 110% into what I’m doing, but turns out I can only put 110% into one thing. And that thing has always been my career. But when your career isn’t fulfilling your desires anymore, it’s time to start looking for other places to get your “why”.

I promised myself on New Years Eve that 2019 would be my year. The year I broke free of any doubt and just went after my passions. My passion right now, starting this soon to be amazing business that will help change peoples lives.

I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching and trying to figure out why I want to do this business. After hours of research and doing many classes, I’ve decided that I want Natural Pharmacist to have these purposes:

  1. Empower young, professional women to take care of their physical, mental and emotional well being so they feel inspired to take on the world and live their best life.
  2. Breakdown the stigma of natural solutions by educating people and healthcare professionals about the benefits of essential oils and herbs and how to integrate them with evidence-based medicine.
  3. Provide eco-friendly products and packaging.
  4. Extend the impact of Natural Pharmacist by donating a part of the proceeds to a non-profit organization that provides healthcare to women in an underserved country. (NPO to be named later, there’s so many to choose from!)

As Pablo Picasso said, “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” I’m excited to go on this journey and see where it will lead. I hope you’ll come along!
